GRACIOUS GIVING™ PROGRAM



While our day to day operations focus on social skills, we feel a social responsibility to give back to our community. Our Gracious Giving™ program designates 5% of our client’s registration fee to one of the following local causes that supports our community.

 


 

P.S. ARTS is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to restoring arts education in public schools by providing comprehensive, skills based, sequential classes in dance, music, theater and visual arts. P.S. ARTS, which was originally founded as an outreach project of the Crossroads Community Foundation, serves thousands of children in some of the most underserved neighborhoods in California. P.S. ARTS also offers arts-related workshops for classroom teachers, integrating creative expression and the arts into the core curriculum. Recognized by local, county and state agencies as an outstanding arts provider, P.S. ARTS now serves as a national model, advocating arts for all students. www.psarts.org

 




The mission of Aviva Family and Children’s Services is to provide a comprehensive range of diverse and culturally sensitive therapeutic and educational programs to help at-risk, emotionally distressed, abused, and neglected youth – as well as their families – function more effectively as individuals and within the family and community. The programs result in lasting changes in the lives of children, teens and families as they receive the help they need to cope with traumatic experiences and are able to develop appropriate social, behavioral and independent living skills. The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization offering services designed to help our clients find jobs and remain employed. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds work. Dress for Success serves clients by referral only, and women must have an interview scheduled before receiving clothing. Our clients come to us from a continually expanding and diverse group of non-profit and government agencies including homeless shelters, immigration services, job training programs, educational institutions and domestic violence shelters, among many other organizations. Determined to Succeed is a unique program dedicated to providing an exceptional group of low socio-economic students with comprehensive year-round support. The students are guided from the critical middle school years through high school and the college acceptance process. Our program tutors and mentors these students by empowering them with more confidence, stronger self-esteem, and a better education. www.dtsla.org
