GENTLEMEN'S SOCIETY SERIES

This is a fun filled class for the young teenage boy who most likely would prefer wearing his football uniform instead of a new Armani dress suit. Yes, he knows there are special occasions when he has to get all dressed up but would prefer to remain dressed in his “big jeans” and t-shirt!
The young teen boy does realize that soon he will have to break away from his comfort level and be out competing for that summer job. College is on the horizon and these years certainly can be filled with emotional stress of the unknown coupled with the possibility of attending school away from home.
The Gentlemen’s Society is a full day class that will certainly assist this young teen to have greater awareness and confidence as he embarks on his new adventures. All areas of etiquette will be covered coupled with hands on training with a four course formal dinner. For the interviewing component he will actually (after practice!) sit down with a Fortune 500 Human Resource Specialist and be interviewed followed up with an assessment so to better prepare the student for the future! Other components of the program include:
• Image/poise/grooming/style/dress codes for success
• Making a positive first impression
• Art of Introductions/titles/address/group introductions
• Social versus business etiquette/differences
• Stationary etiquette/thank you notes/personalized stationary/writing instruments
• Networking a room successfully
• Art of Negotiation/Developing a win win attitude
• Goal setting and time management skills
• The power lunch
• Cultural sensitivities/international resources for protocols
• Speech/diction and presentation skills
• Marketing development – salesmanship ABC’s
• Interviewing skills/landing that summer job
